New agricultural Biocontrol solutions ADLER AGRO

We launched three new agricultural biocontrol solutions on the market with the ECOCERT seal.

Biocontrol strategies are based on the use of products of biological origin for the control, prevention or elimination of any pest or disease in a crop. Either through its strict application or combined with other conventional phytosanitary products in order to reduce their quantity and slow down the appearance of resistances.

These agricultural management strategies have the following main advantages:

Chitomax is a solution based on Chitosan Hydrochloride approved as a basic substance according to article 23 of Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009.

It is a 100% natural and fully biodegradable product, made exclusively from natural extracts of high-density chitosan (derived from chitin of crustacean origin).

Equimax is a solution based on horsetail decoction approved as a basic substance according to article 23 of Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009.

It is a 100% natural and fully biodegradable product, made exclusively from natural extracts from the aqueous decoction of Equisetum Arvense L.

Ortimax is a nettle extract-based solution approved as a basic substance according to article 23 of Regulation (EC) No. 1107/2009.

It is a 100% natural and fully biodegradable product, made exclusively from natural extracts of Urtica Dioica.

Agrotica Fair 2022 – Greece

ADLER AGRO was present at the International Agrotica Fair in Greece.

We were present at the 29th edition of the International Agrotic Fair in Thessaloniki, Greece. The fair took place between 20 and 23 October at the TIF HELEXPO International Exhibition and Conference Centre in Thessaloniki.

This fair was a tremendous success, with more than 150,000 visitors from 12 different countries and the participation of more than 2,000 companies.

Adler Agro at the Eco Chemical Solutions by Quimacova (EChS) at Ecofira

We were at the "Chemical Sector Show for Sustainability and Circular Economy" at the Ecofira in Valencia.

Adler Agro, as an associate of the Chemical sector of the Valencian Community association (Quimacova), was participating in the new space that this association made available to those attending Ecofira at the Valencia Fair from October 4 to 6, 2022.

Without a doubt, it achieved its objective of making visible what the chemical industry contributes to the circular economy and identifying the actors in the chemical industry that led the so-called 'European Green Deal' through its different innovation strategies and environmental policies.

ADLER AGRO was present at the Agrotech-Agropars International Fair last April.

Agrotech-Agropars is Iran's leading annual fair for agricultural machinery, horticultural equipment, fertilizers, pesticides, seeds, and water supply. It takes place in Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province, at the "Fars International Exhibition Center".

This modern exhibition center offers 20,000 square meters of covered exhibition space and 3000 square meters of outdoor area. More than eighty-five international companies participated in the prestigious fair, mainly from Germany, Spain, France, Turkey, China, and Italy.

Sustainable agriculture to feed the world

The great demographic challenge of the future requires innovative and sustainable solutions that guarantee sufficient and quality food production.

As the statistics show, throughout the last century, agriculture based on the intensive use of resources developed in the so-called "Green Revolution" managed to increase world agricultural production, responding to the significant growth population produced after World War II.

However, the depletion of natural resources associated with this kind of agriculture endangers future agricultural productivity and alarmingly exacerbates climate change.

Likewise, this increase has not significantly reduced hunger globally, estimated at some 870 million people, due to social inequality, agricultural land grabbing, and food waste worldwide, among others.

All this context leads us to face one of humanity's most critical challenges, alleviate chronic hunger with a world population in full expansion without depleting natural resources or harming the environment. Considering that the world population is estimated to grow from the current 7,000 million people to 9,200 million people in 2050, you could imagine the huge demographic challenge.

In order to help fight this challenge, we must have innovative and environmentally friendly solutions to increase world food production by 60% sustainably.
